Kumuyi sends strong message to Nigerians for national change

The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has called on Nigerians to prioritize selflessness and make sacrifices for one another to become agents of positive change.

Speaking at the Global Men’s Conference organized by Change Makers International (CMI) on Saturday night, Kumuyi emphasized that transformative change can only come through personal reflection and a commitment to helping others.

During his address titled “Refreshing and Refining Change Makers,” Kumuyi explained that a renewed outlook on life is essential for individuals to be molded and refined by God, quoting biblical references such as Isaiah 28:12 and Malachi 3:3.

He highlighted the importance of introspection and the need for change in attitudes and actions to achieve national progress, noting that the country’s future depends on it.

“If we continue the same way without reflecting on the need for change, where will we be as a country by 2030?” Kumuyi questioned.

He urged Nigerians to rethink and refresh their perspectives in order to foster peace, unity, and solutions to the nation’s challenges.

Kumuyi further emphasized the significance of having a compassionate heart and the willingness to help others, stating that a hardened heart leads to selfishness and indifference.

He urged individuals to embrace kindness, help the underprivileged, and restore positive relationships in their communities.

“God will give us a new heart if we repent of our negative actions and live selflessly,” he added, encouraging Nigerians to take practical steps toward improving their health, relationships, and overall well-being.

Kumuyi concluded by advising Nigerians to take care of their physical health through proper nutrition and hydration, reflecting a holistic approach to change and renewal.

The conference served as a platform for Kumuyi to inspire attendees to become catalysts for change, both in their personal lives and across the nation.
