Award-winning American gospel singer and minister, Kirk Franklin has met with his biological father for the first time.
The Grammy award-winning artiste he was given up for adoption as a baby to his aunt Gertrude after he was abandoned by his parents.
Kirk had always had resentment for his parents but all that changed after he received a phone call.
He narrated in a lengthy post on his Instagram where he talked about meeting his ailing father for the first time and learning the virtues of forgiveness.
