Killer Of Popular Rapper Pop Smoke Finally Pleads Guilty

One of the killers  of rapper Pop Smoke has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and a home invasion robbery.

 

The  20-year-old at the time of the incident, was sentenced to four years and two months in a juvenile facility and this suggests  that the individual was only 17 years old at the time he was sentenced.

 

The incident in question involved the killing of rapper Pop Smoke during a home invasion robbery in February 2020.

 

Pop Smoke, whose real name was Bashar Jackson, was a rising star in the music industry and had just released his second mixtape at the time of his death.

 

 

While this sentencing brings some measure of closure to the case, it is important to remember the gravity of taking someone’s life and committing such a serious crime.
