Kenny Blaq launches acting career with Wale Adenuga’s ‘Knockout’

Nigerian stand-up comedian, Kenny Blaq is set to make his cinematic debut in new movie, ‘Knockout’, TOPNAIJA.Ng can confirm.

The movie, which is scheduled to be released during Easter, is scheduled for release on April 19.

Speaking on its latest film, Adenuga said the organisation has put the best of its resources in making the film to ensure that cinema lovers are entertained.

The film was directed by Patience Oghre.

It boasts of movie stars like Sola Sobowale, Chiwetalu Agu, Toyin Abraham, Patience Ozokwor (Mama G), Odunlade Adekola and Ngozi Nwosu.

‘Knockout’ also features Jide Kosoko, Segun Arinze, Desmond Elliot, Hafiz Oyetoro, Ali Nuhu, 9ice, Charles Okocha, Woli Arole, Gbenga Adeyinka, Klint Da Drunk.

The movie tells the story of how news of a boxing competition with a cash prize of $3 million sends a town into a frenzy.

It goes further to explore how the group devised mischievous means to participate eyes on the prize monies.

The clumsy boxer they choose and the crazy characters they meet along the way result in a myriad of mayhem and madness.

Kenny Blaq, born Otolorin Kehinde, trained as a compere at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

The 24-year-old’s show ‘The Oxymoron Of Kennyblaq’ won awards for the best comedy show at the 2017 and 2018 Naija 102.3FM comedy awards
