The first season of much loved interview series, King Women has come to an end but not without being wrapped up in the most epic way.

Producer of the Accelerate TV hosted show, Kemi Adetiba interviewed her mother, Mayen Adetiba and the outcome will remain an inestimable memoir for her family and for African women all over the world.

During the interview, 66-year-old Mayen discloses how she has managed to stay at the top of her engineering career regardless of the perceived patriarchal nature of the profession.

She also discussed how she was able to curb the excesses of her children at tender ages to ensure they grew up to be hardworking and independent. Particularly referring to Kemi Adetiba, she expressed her happiness on how well her daughter has turned out.

On the launch of King Women, Kemi Adetiba described the series as ‘a visual movement that acts as an accessible source of mentorship and emotional upliftment to young and impressionable ladies.’

So far, the first season has delivered on its promise, making it one of the best web TV series to have come out of this part of the world.

King Women has featured prominent personalities such as Taiwo Ajai-Lycett, TY Bello, Tara Durotoye, Chigul, Funmi Victor-Okigbo, Olajumoke Adenowo, Remi Fagbohun, Adesuwa Onyenokwe, Ayodeji Megbope, and now, Mayen Adetiba.
