Kano: 80-year-old woman rescued from well

TopNaija gathered that The Kano State Fire Service on Friday rescued an 80-year-old woman who fell inside a well at Tudun Wuzurchi Municipal Local Government Area of the state.

The spokesman for the fire service, Mallam Siadu Mohammed, in a statement on Friday, said the agency received a distress call from Tudun Wuzurchi around 6.40 am from one Mallam Ibrahim Hussaini.

According to the statement, the fire service promptly dispatched a team of firefighters, who on arrival at the scene discovered that it was a woman of about 80 years old that fell into the well.

The statement added, ‘’Firemen promptly rescued her alive from the well, which she fell into while fetching water and handed her over to her brother, Mallam Kabiru of Tudun Wuzurchi.”
