JUSTIN: Court denies Binance executive, Gambaryan bail
Tigran Gambaryan, the executive of the bitcoin company Binance, asked for bail on Friday, but the Federal High Court in Abuja said no.
TopNaija recalls that money laundering and funding for terrorism were charged against Gambaryan, his company Binance Holdings Limited, and Nadeem Anjarwalla, another top executive who is currently on the run.
Punch says that Justice Emeka Nwite said no to the bail application on Friday because he had carefully read it and decided that the suspect would jump bail if it was granted.
