JUST IN: Sanwo-Olu To Deliver Metroline Before Wike

Gboyega Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has disclosed that  his principal will beat the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to breaking the Metroline record.

Lagos has got a Metroline which isn’t fully functional while that of FCT Abuja has been ordered by newly sworn-in Wike for completion in months’ time.

Reacting, user of X platform, @DeeOneAyekooto, wondered which of the two leader would arrive at the completion of a Metroline in their region.

He shared, “Wike is the first Southerner to be properly appointed as a Full Minister of the FCT in the history of Nigeria. Will he be satisfied with this record and allow Sanwo-Olu to break the MetroLine Record? Or will the Amiable Governor Sanwo-Olu allow Performance Hungry Wike to take this shine off him? The next few months shall answer these questions.”

In response, Akosile stated that a big news would be unfolded today regarding Metroline in Lagos.

He shared, “My brother, it’s as if you’re in spirit. We are making the record first. Watch out for the big news later today. Governor @jidesanwoolu na talk and do like his FCT Minister counterpart in progress.”
