JUST IN: Prof. Samuel Asagba becomes Delta varsity VC

Prof. Samuel Asagba has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of Delta State University, Abraka.

Topnaija.ng reports that Samuel Asagba’s appointment was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu.

According to the statement, the appointment will take effect from December 1, 2024.

Asagba, a Professor of Environmental Biochemistry and Toxicology had previously served the University in various capacities, including serving as deputy vice-chancellor (Administration) as well as Provost of the defunct Asaba campus.
