JUST IN: President Tinubu approves 555 appointments to tertiary institution governing councils

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointments of 555 individuals to serve as Chairmen and members of the governing councils of tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Tinubu tertiary institution appointments and retreat for the newly appointed Chairmen and members will take place on Thursday, May 30th, and Friday, May 31st, 2024.
Among the notable appointments:
Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto
– Pro-Chancellor and Chairman: Prof. Attahiru Jega
– Members: Miss Mary Nyieor Yisa, R. O. Kazeem, Prof. Usman Musa, Dr. Anthony Usoro
Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State
– Pro-Chancellor and Chairman: Chief Martin Nwanchor Elechi
– Members: Imamuddeen Ahmed Talba, Ismaila Mohammed Na Aoa, Prof. Seun Liberty, Hon. Moses Osogi
Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria
– Pro-Chancellor and Chairman: Alhaji Yayale Ahmed
