Just In: Peter Obi Set To Visit Abia State

The 2023  presidential candidate of the Labour Party Mr Peter Obi is set to be in Abia State on Tuesday.

 

Obi will be in Abia state to solicit support for the governorship candidate of the party in the State, Alex Otti.

He is expected to go to Aba and Umuahia, the state capital, to thank his supporters for voting for him during the election.

 

Ekeoma pointed out that Obi had, while speaking during his last visit to the state, emphatically said he would be in Abia again to campaign for Otti because both Otti and Abians are dear to him and thus deserve the best of support from him and his supporters.

The statement read in part, “The Labour Party governorship candidate in Abia state, Chief Alex Otti, OFR, on behalf of his family; Abia state Labour Party and the Alex Otti Campaign Council, welcome once again, the Pride of the Nation and the Labour Party Presidential Candidate in the just concluded election, His Excellency, Mr Peter Gregory Obi, CON to Abia state.

“As a mark of honour, Otti wishes to invite his supporters, Labour Party leaders and members, well-wishers, friends, stakeholders, members of the Obedient Movement, public and civil servants, pensioners and patriots, traders and artisans, businessmen and women, religious leaders and members of different religious organisations, students and youths, people living with disabilities, members of the academia, captains of industry, and indeed, the general public to come out en mass to give a rousing welcome to the giant from the East.

“Obi who is coming to Abia in Solidarity with his long-time friend and ally, Dr Alex Otti, will use the opportunity of his coming to Abia to Visit Aba and Umuahia respectively, and some select LGAs where he would have the opportunity to interact and thank Abians for the massive solidarity and support given to him and the National Assembly members elect”.
