JUST IN: Former chairman, Atisbo LG, dies in accident

The immediate past chairman of Atisbo local government, Hon. Wasiu Owolabi Akogun was lost to a fatal accident on Monday.

According to TopNaija.ng, he died at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital around 9:15pm.

Sources revealed that the honourable was on his way to Alhikimah University, where he was undergoing a postgraduate diploma in International Relations.

His brother posted on Facebook, that the remains of the deceased will be buried according to Islamic rites by 4 p.m. today, Tuesday, April 5, at his residence in Irawo Owode.
