Jude Bellingham surpasses Cristiano Ronaldo

In a remarkable feat, Real Madrid midfielder, Jude Bellingham has further etched his name into the club’s history books, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo’s record after a stellar performance in their recent La Liga clash against Cadiz.

Bellingham’s goal, scored with 16 minutes remaining in Real Madrid’s commanding 3-0 victory over Cadiz, marked a significant milestone in his tenure with the Spanish giants.

The England international, who made a high-profile £88.5 million move from Borussia Dortmund to Carlo Ancelotti’s side during the summer transfer window, has been a sensation, netting an impressive tally of 14 goals in just 15 appearances for his new team.

The historic goal against Cadiz not only secured a crucial win for Real Madrid but also positioned Jude Bellingham as the sole player in the club’s illustrious history to achieve the remarkable feat of scoring more than 13 goals in his initial 15 games.

Comparatively, Cristiano Ronaldo, during his prolific start at Real Madrid following his £80 million transfer from Manchester United in 2009, recorded 13 goals in his first 15 appearances across all competitions. This tally, though impressive, was in line with the club’s former players Alfredo Di Stefano and Pruden, who also achieved the same milestone in 1953 and 1943, respectively.

Bellingham’s exceptional start has not only outshone Ronaldo’s initial impact but has also surpassed the early goal-scoring exploits of renowned former Real Madrid stars such as Ferenc Puskas, who amassed 11 goals, and Ruud van Nistelrooy, who tallied 9 goals in their respective first 15 games for the club.

The young midfielder’s prolific form has ignited discussions and admiration, cementing his status as a rising star and a pivotal asset for Real Madrid.
