Jude Bellingham had to Troll Haaland after City draw

They may have played together before or may have been best of friends, and still end up being future teammates, but for now, Jude Bellingham couldn’t resist the urge to troll Erling Haaland after last night’s Champions League draw.

After their Tuesday Champions League match ended in a draw, the Borussia Dortmund star, Jude Bellingham revealed what he said to Erling Haaland, after his side had prevented former teammate and goal scoring machine from having a sniff of a goal for Manchester City.

After a scoreless draw in Germany, both Manchester City and Dortmund advanced to the competition’s knockout rounds, which is as much a soothing relief for both players who failed to score in the game.

Haaland had not visited Signal Iduna Park since relocating to the Etihad in the summer.

Haaland immediately headed toward Bellingham after the match, and the two former teammates cracked a joke and banter after the game.

When questioned by BT Sport about their earlier conversation at the Etihad and what they discussed this time, the England international remarked saying:

I don’t think I said it like that but yeah! Obviously it is nice to keep all of them [City players] out, but obviously him in particular because we know how dangerous he is.

I said to him at the end of the game, ‘We’re 1-1 now on goals!”. So I’m not too satisfied because I haven’t scored either!’

But of course we got the draw and that’s what we needed from the game and we’re just happy to go through really so we can carry on this journey.”

Jude Bellingham is on course to become a highly rated midfielder with his performances this season that has led to him having links with top clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool.
