Joyner Lucas has begged R Kelly not to commit suicide, this is coming after John Legend appeared on a documentary which highlighted Kelly’s sexual exploitation.

John Legend was one of the two musicians who came to talk on the documentary Surviving R kelly which highlighted the singers sexual exploitation over the years.

Only yesterday, the 3rd of January, Kelly had threatened that he will sue Lifetime if it goes on air for making him look bad but the service in its defense stated that they will champion the women’s cases and go ahead with it.

Joyner Lucas in a tweet has now reached out to R Kelly not to hurt himself in anyway.

He wrote, “I know this has to be one of the hardest patches in your life right now R Kelly. I’m literally watching the entire world condemn you and turn they back on you. I’m not saying you don’t deserve it. All I’m saying is please don’t hurt yourself or take yourself out. I’d still be sad”.

Plenty of people on Twitter didn’t react positively to the tweet. After receiving backlash he followed up with another tweet, attempting to clarify what he meant.

“I’m reading the comments on my last post,” he said in another now-deleted tweet. “People are upset because I’m telling someone to NOT kill themselves? Wtf? Lol like bro. Y’all cray. I clearly said I’m NOT saying he don’t deserve what he’s getting. I’m not on his side. But he shouldn’t kill himself.”
