JK Rowling has been made a “Companion of Honours” by Prince Williams

Author of my favourite books, the “Harry Potter” series, JK Rowling has been made a “Companion of Honour” by the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William , according to BBC.

The “Companion of Honour” is a special award, held by only 65 people at a time.

Rowling, accepting the award, said she was “deeply honoured.”

“To be included in the distinguished and diversely talented company of the other Companions of Honour, especially as a female writer, is a particular privilege,” she said.

The investiture was held at the Buckingham Palace, and Rowling was accompanied by her husband, Neil Murray.
