A supposed historian has caused quite a stir on social media after he claimed that the Lord Jesus was an Igbo man who was birthed and crucified in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
The historian also commented that the real name of the Messiah is Mmanuelu as opposed to the name Emmanuel.
He further claims that Jesus was crucified at Ugwu Ekwema.
According to him, the Iriji festival (New Yam festival) was a celebration to mark the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ, Mmanuelu.
The historian also claimed that Jesus’ father’s name was Njensoafo, which was corrupted with the name Joseph.
