They call him Mr. Reliable, and rightly so, Liverpool can rely on famed Vice Captain in hour of need.

At a time when Liverpool’s top stars, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are set to depart the club in favor of increased wages, 37 year old James Milner does the opposite.

Reports have it that the ex- England International has agreed to pen a new deal with Liverpool, in favor of significantly reduced wages.

The former Leeds player will be doing so, rejecting lucrative offers from other Premier League clubs and a club from the MLS, after his initial deal expires this June.

The Reds midfielder joined the club from Manchester City in 2015 after being signed by former Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers.

Since then, he has proven to be an influential personality in the squad on and off the pitch, whom Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp values greatly.

The Yorkshire man has been a reliable player for the team at each stages of every season, playing in variety of positions when called on, and has been instrumental in the club’s success.
