Jake Paul steps into the light with Jutta Leerdam
YouTube star and professional boxer Jake Paul has gone public with his new girlfriend, Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam. Jake Paul, who previously dated Instagram model Julia Rose, posted two loved-up photos of himself and Leerdam on social media, accompanied by the caption “I’m Dutch now.”
According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, Paul and Leerdam were first spotted together at a Hugo Boss fashion show in Miami. The 24-year-old Leerdam is a world champion speed skater, having won gold in the 1000m event at the ISU Speed Skating World Cup in Calgary, Canada, in December 2020. She has also won three consecutive first-place finishes in the same event.
Leerdam, who had previously been in a relationship with fellow speed skater Koen Verweij, spoke about her success after her world championship win, saying, “I have become stronger and heavier. I now use that extra fat as strength.” She also acknowledged that her race wasn’t perfect, but that she learns from every competition.
Meanwhile, Paul hasn’t fought since his defeat to Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia last year, and he has expressed interest in running it back with Fury. He is also reportedly angling for a fight against KSI, who is set to face Joe Fournier next month.
As for Paul’s new relationship with Leerdam, it appears to be going well as the couple have shared several photos of themselves together on social media. The news of their relationship comes after Paul and Rose unfollowed each other on Instagram, leading to speculation that they had split up.
