Jacquees, Bell Biv Devoe And Koryn Hawthorne Thrill At The Soul Train Awards

On Sunday, viewers took to their television screens to watch some of their R&B and soul faves get their just due at the 2018 Soul Train Awards and then bring some of that talent to the performance stage. Among some of the evening’s performances were OGs Bell Biv Devoe, R&B crooner Jacquees and Christian/gospel artist Koryn Hawthorne.
As expected, BBD came to the stage with all the energy as they took us on a welcome trip down memory lane with their performance. People were visibly up and on their feet at the Soul Train Awards.

Elsewhere during the night, 2018’s arguable fan favorite Jacquees had people in the audience bumpin’ and grindin’ when he took the stage with R&B group Bluff City. (And no, unfortunately he did not perform his controversial “Trip” remix.)

And in a more holy pivot, Koryn Hawthorne (the youngest performer of the bunch) sent a slice of praise to the heavens with a performance of “Won’t He Do It.”
Koryne Hawthorne praises the lord and empowers us with her performance of "Won't He Do It!". #SoulTrainAwardshttps://t.co/0xtCjG9Nec
