Ivy Ifeoma denies engagement with Paul Okoye despite flaunting ring

Ivy Ifeoma, girlfriend of popular Nigerian singer, Paul ‘Rudeboy’ Okoye has denied rumours that she is engaged with the singer.

Paul Okoye ‘s lover, Ivy Ijeoma denied the rumor after she flaunted a ring on her finger in a video shared on social media.

The ring, however, generated quite a reaction, giving the impression that Paul Okoye had proposed marriage to her.

Fans had taken to social media to congratulate her while critics raised concerns about the possibility of the rushing their relationship.

To clear the air over speculations, Ivy said that it is just a fashion ring and not an engagement ring as many believed.

In other news, Nollywood actress and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate in Lagos State, Funke Akindele, has conceded defeat in Saturday’s March 18th election.

Topnaija reports that the incumbent Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, has been declared winner of Saturday’s governorship election in Lagos state. He was declared winner by the INEC returning officer at 01.15am Monday.

The Governor won 19 of the 20 local government councils in the state, scoring 762,134 votes.

His closest rival Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party, scored 312, 329 votes while Olajide Adediran of the PDP got 62,449 votes.

Although the PDP is yet to officially accept the outcome of the election, however, Akindele seemed to have moved on so quickly.

A check on her Instagram page by Topnaija on Monday morning shows that the thespian has deleted all political posts on her page.
