"It’s not my decision to be here” -- Pochettino

It was only going to take long before Chelsea coach, Mauricio Pochettino fired back at journalists for repeatedly questioning his long term future at Stamford Bridge.

Following the 2-0 defeat of Tottenham Hotspur, the former Spurs manager was very critical of the speculations circulated by the media regarding his potential sacking by Chelsea.

Taking a swipe at the press, Pochettino snapped by saying he has had enough of the reports.

“I think enough is enough,” the Argentine coach told Sky Sports.

He goes on to stress that all managers need time to translate their ideas and their philosophy to players.

Pochettino insists the role of managing a squad like Chelsea’s is tough enough.

“When the team is like this squad is. We need to have time. It’s not my decision. It’s difficult to see every single week that I’m under scrutiny and I’m under judgment. But it’s not my decision to be here or not to be here.” the former Paris Saint-Germain boss added.

Chelsea so far this season have endured a mixed form throughout the campaign, with the Blues for a second season very likely to miss out on an European spot. They currently sit 8th in the premier league table with 4-games to go for them.
