I Can't Control These Things -- Mikel Arteta On Joining Real Madrid

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has described their recent victory over Bournemouth as “madness”. The Gunners made a dramatic comeback after being two goals down, securing a 3-2 victory against the Cherries at the Emirates Stadium, maintaining their five-point gap at the top of the table.

The visitors took an early lead in the game with goals from Phillip Billing and Marcos Senesi, but Arsenal managed to bounce back with goals from Thomas Partey, Ben White, and Reiss Nelson.

Mikel Arteta praised his team’s efforts, stating that the win was a result of their determination and perseverance. “It was madness from the first second. We kept trying and dominating the game. We had a mountain to climb and we took it bit by bit,” he said.

The Arsenal manager also commended the impact of Reiss Nelson, who had been out injured for some time and had not played much this season.

He praised Nelson for his outstanding performance, which he said had a significant impact on the outcome of the game. “Reiss Nelson hasn’t featured much because he has been injured. He comes on and puts in that performance. It was incredible to experience the emotion with the crowd. It’s going to stick with us,” Arteta added.

The victory over Bournemouth was an important one for Arsenal, as it helped them maintain their position at the top of the Premier League table. The Gunners are currently five points clear of their nearest rivals and will be hoping to maintain their winning momentum as they aim to secure their first Premier League title in over a decade.

The atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium was electric during the game, and Arteta expressed his gratitude to the fans for their support. “It was incredible to experience the emotion with the crowd,” he said.

The Gunners’ next fixture is against West Ham United, who are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table. Arsenal will be looking to build on their recent form and continue their winning streak as they aim to secure their place at the top of the table.
