Inter Miami striker Gonzalo Higuain to retire from football

The former Argentina international is set to call it quits at the end of the year, as his contract expires.

According to the the 34-year-old’s father, Jorge, the player’s third season contract with Miami, will be expire in December.

There were speculations concerning Higuain’s return to River Plate, where he began his career.
