Instagram Model Who Is HIV Positive Goes Blind Again After Eye Surgery
Well-known Instagram model, Gena Tew has reportedly gone blind in one eye due to eye surgery, weeks after revealing she is HIV positive.
Gena had surgery in August after losing vision in her left eye as a result of her HIV diagnosis. There was reason to believe that the surgery might restore her eyesight.
According to TMZ, the model is entirely blind in that eye for the second time, and all she can see is pitch-black blackness. Doctors have recommended new medications, but the treatments have only made her unwell. Medical personnel is now contemplating another operation, but no decision has been made.
Other aspects of Gena’s life have improved. She’s lately gained weight, increasing from 90 to 105 pounds. With the assistance of a walker, she is also recovering her ability to walk.
