The National Assembly elections took place on February 25, 2023, along with the presidential election. The new members of the legislative arm of government include both fresh faces and familiar ones who have been re-elected.
Surprisingly, the list includes 34 members of the Labour Party who defeated candidates from both the ruling All Progressives Congress and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party to secure a seat for themselves and their party in the National Assembly.
