The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has distributed sensitive election materials to various polling units in Ward 4, Okenrenkoko Community in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.

This includes the Gbaramatu Kingdom, which is known to be the stronghold of High Chief Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo. Accreditation has already taken place, and voters are waiting to cast their votes for their preferred candidates.

The distribution of sensitive election materials to various polling units is an essential step towards conducting free and fair elections. It ensures that the necessary materials, such as ballot papers, result sheets, and other relevant documents, are available at each polling unit.

The fact that these materials have been distributed to the Gbaramatu Kingdom, despite being the stronghold of High Chief Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, shows that INEC is committed to ensuring that the electoral process is unbiased and transparent.

Accreditation has already taken place, which is the process of verifying the identity of voters before they are allowed to vote. This is a critical step in preventing electoral fraud and ensuring that only eligible voters cast their votes.
