A new scam using the name of Indian government  has been reportedly circulating on the internet.

According to a further report, the scammers are circulating to users that the government of India is giving free laptops to students and that people can avail the offer by registering for it on an official website with some details.

The fake poster was spotted by PIB Fact Check, which confirmed on Twitter that the education ministry of India isn’t running any such scheme of free laptop.

The scammers have mentioned that students based in any Indian state can avail the offer.

The fake poster is claiming that one will get a free laptop from government, as part of their new scheme.

People are being asked to share some details to claim the offer and keep checking the official website of the government that they have linked.

But, the poster is fake, which is pretty obvious because sentences are not framed properly and the grammar is also wrong.
