2face, Sound Sultan, Omawumi, Chidinma, others celebrate as HipTV debuts on DSTV

Tuesday, November 5, 2013 saw an atmosphere of celebrations at the headquarters of Smooth Promotions in Ikeja, Lagos as HipTV began airing on DSTV and GOTV. The urbane music and lifestyle channel launched as a full-fledged 24-hour channel.

Friends and celebrities visited the Smooth Promotions office to congratulate the company, including DJ Jimmy JATT, 2face Idibia, Sound Sultan, DJ Humility, Illbliss, Modenine, Chidinma, Omawumi, Dammy Krane. Others were Tee A, Efe Omorogbe, Ayo Shonaiya, Tony ‘Don T’ Anifite, Steve Ayorinde, Sunday Are and more.
