I’m going into Hiding—Rio Ferdinand after Brentford Humiliation

The Manchester United vs. Brentford match yesterday was quite the stunner, and pretty much one that took Red Devils legend, Rio Ferdinand by storm.

It wasn’t just the former defender that was left in total disbelief but also former teammate, Gary Neville who pretty much left a comment, wondering how much the club could spend a billion euros on players just to end up going further down.

The humiliation from the defeat left the pundit going into a row with fellow pundit, Jamie Redknapp on Sky Sports over the problems created by the owners, the Glazer family.

For Rio Ferdinand, it was all sorts of bad that the Man United legend had to leave on his Twitter handle telling his followers he would be going into hiding after the embarrassing defeat to Brentford.

“We are bottom….I’m going off grid,” Ferdinand had tweeted.

The Saturday fixture saw the Red Devils succumb to a 4-0 deficit prior to the half time whistle with Brentford capitalizing on a lot of errors and mistakes made by the United team to score 4 goals in 30 minutes to close out the game.

The four goals scored where capitalized on by Josh Dasilva, Mathias Jensen, Ben Mee and Bryan Mbeumo at their home ground of Gtech Community Stadium.

The consecutive defeats sees the Old Trafford club much to Rio Ferdinand’s dismay sitting 20th on the Premier League table as the Red Devils begin the season battling relegation rather than Premier League title race contention.
