IGP dissolves SARS nationwide
The inspector general of police force, Adamu Mohammed has dissolves the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigerian police force, (F-SARS).
Bashir Ahmad, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media said, “The SARS officially disbanded, all officers serving within the unit are to be redeployed with immediate effect, IGP Muhammed Adamu, announced in a live broadcast this afternoon. #EndSARS”.
However, this comes as a result of the several on-going protests in the country, conducted by Nigerian youth.
