Ibadan ritual killing: Muslim cleric beheads 14-year-old boy

In a shocking incident on Saturday evening, Malik Kareem, a 14-year-old boy, was reportedly beheaded for a ritual in the Olorisaoko community, Akinyele Local Government Area of Ibadan, Oyo State.

The tragic event, which has left the community in turmoil, occurred after Kareem, who had recently completed his final West African Examination Council (WAEC) subject at Iyana Community Grammar School, Olode, Moniya, Ibadan, was allegedly involved in a ritualistic plot.

Sources revealed that Kareem, along with three other boys of similar age, had approached a Muslim cleric for a money ritual. Unknowing to him, the boys had conspired with the cleric to sacrifice him.
