I was once paid to insult Tinubu – Portable reveals amid series of backlash
Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola AKA Potable has revealed that he once collected money to insult presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The singer, Portable made this disclosure amidst the series of backlash he received from Nigerian youths after he collected loads of money to endorse APC presidential candidate, TInubu and Osun State governor, Gboyega Oyetola, who is seeking re-election cum Saturday. Read here.
According to him, before the table turned, he recounted how, during the EndSARS protest, he was paid by an unknown group to drop insults on the former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking in the Yoruba language, he said;
“If they pay you money, you have to work. I was once paid to insult Tinubu during the protests. That was a long time ago. Now, APC has said Akoi Tinubu.
“If they pay you, do your job, no ripping. When I was asked to insult Tinubu, I collected my money and did my job. Now Tinubu is the next. They’re the ones that gave me money, and I must do the work for the money I collected. Akoi APC,”
