I was disappointed Wizkid didn’t show up at my wedding – Banky W spills

Music executive and politician, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W said he was disappointed with Wizkid for not showing up at his wedding.

Recall that Banky W’s wedding with Adesua Etomi, in 2017 was a star-studded wedding ceremony graced with high-status individuals in the society, but unfortunately, Wizkid didn’t show up at the event.

Banky W with his wife, Adesua Etomi in a recent chat with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on the BlackBox interview series, revealed that he was disappointed with the former EME signee for not showing up at his wedding.

However, Banky W stated that Wizkid’s presence at the ‘One Africa’ event held in Dubai at that period, might be the cause of his absense.

Was I disappointed that he wasn’t at the wedding? I was but I know he tried because there was a show with a lot of the artists…I think it was One Africa,”

As a matter of fact Tiwa ended up…there was business class and she took economy seat so she could make it. But he called at the time that he was so sorry.” He said.

He also spoke about Wizkid’s contract with EME before leaving and how Wizkid still owes him 3 albums out of 5, as evident in the contract. his exit from the record label easy devoid of drama.
