In an interview with media personality Chude, the veteran actor revealed that he deliberately kept the fact that he had been married and had three children out of the public eye.
In a surprising revelation, Jim Iyke acknowledged that he was the cause of the breakdown of his previous two marriages and did not attribute blame to anyone else.
He spoke about the significant impact his mother’s passing had on him, causing him to lose balance in his life for several years.
Jim Iyke shared how his close bond with his mother, whom he considered his best friend, influenced his behavior as a father.
He poured all his love and attention into caring for his first son, assuming the role of a devoted stay-at-home dad.
However, the transformation brought about by the loss of his mother caused a shift in his personality and priorities.
Recognizing the changes in him, his wife at the time realized that he was no longer the man she had married. They had open discussions about their evolving circumstances and ultimately chose to part ways as friends.
