I vowed to make money after drinking garri for 10 days straight – Shallipopi (Video)

Crown Uzama, a budding musician, best known as Shallipopi, has gone down memorylane, of how hunger motivated him to become financially successful.

He made the shocking disclosure during an interview witht Hip Hop artist, Odumodublck on an episode on Turntable podcast.

According to the music artiste, there was a time he was broke he drank garri for 10 days in a stretch and it was within that period that he started to think about his life.

Odumodu had questioned him that  asked him what was the extreme incident that happened before he hit stardom that made him vow to make it by any means.

In response, Shallipopi said after drinking garri for 10 days straight, he knew that he had to work hard and make it in life.

“Make you just taste garri for like 10 straight days, then you go rethink your life. You go blow by force,” the 23-year-old singer said.
