United States’ Vice President Kamala Harris isn’t going to lack allies in her presidential run if it comes to it as American rapper, Cardi B throws her weight behind Biden’s nominee for the 2024 polls.

Following President Joe Biden’s announcement of his withdrawal and endorsement of Harris, Cardi B took to her X handle to express her excitement.

Cardi B, who had previously championed Harris as the ideal candidate during Biden’s debate with former President Donald Trump, wasted no time in celebrating Biden’s decision to step down. She wrote: “Aha hahaha let’s go! I told y’all Kamala [Harris] was supposed to be the 2024 candidate… Stop f*ckin playin with me!”

This endorsement comes after Cardi B’s candid remarks in Rolling Stone back in May, where she expressed her disillusionment with both Biden and Trump. The rapper criticized Trump as a “dangerous threat” but also voiced her “layers and layers of disappointment” with Biden’s administration, citing mismanagement at home and abroad.

The move to bid time before announcing his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race is one that seems interesting on the surface, considering President Biden’s continuous insistence on staying in the race to wrestle Donald Trump’s candidacy.

Of course, for conspiracy theorists, the move alone could be considered a calculated one and Biden’s strategic move to canvass support from his base for Kamala Harris rather than the 81-year-old holding an actual interest in a re-election. Whichever it is, Kamala Harris standing against Trump makes a lot of Americans like Cardi B happy.

On the surface, even former U.S president, Donald Trump is happy with her nomination.
