I Thought It Was My Wife – Father Impregnates 13-year-old Daughter

A middle-aged man has been arrested by the police for impregnating his 13-year-old Daughter in Ogun State.

The 39-year-old man, identified as Mfon Jeremiah was accosted for defiling and impregnating his daughter (name withheld) who, according to him, thought was his wife.

Mfon Jeremiah is a resident of FIRRO Estate off Adesan, Mowe, and was apprehended after the mother of the victim lodged a report at Mowe divisional headquarters.

According to the mother of the minor, when she discovered that her daughter was pregnant, she was informed that it was her father who impregnated her.

Taking the child for a confirmation test in the hospital, it was revealed that she is four months pregnant.

Upon the report, the DPO Mowe division, SP Folake Afeniforo, gathered together, detectives for the arrest of the suspect in his house.

On interrogation, the suspect confessed that he was responsible for his daughter’s pregnancy, however, with a little twist.

Jeremiah claimed to be under spell when he did it.

He made a statement that he was dreaming of having sex with his wife, who has separated from him for some time now, only to discover that it was her daughter that he had sex with.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, has directed the transfer of the suspect to the anti-human trafficking and child labour unit of the state Criminal Investigation Departments for further investigation and possible prosecution.
