“I Love Messi” — Mohamed Salah

Liverpool’s star forward, Mohamed Salah, has revealed Lionel Messi as his preferred Argentine player, aside from Mac Allister, in a recent interview with ESPN Argentina.

Expressing his admiration for the Argentina legend, Salah emphasized his fondness for the former Barcelona icon. “My favorite Argentine player apart from Mac Allister? Messi,” Salah stated.

He continued, showering praise on the 8th time Ballon d’Or winner, asserting, “I love Messi. He is. Messi is Messi; I love Messi.”

In addition to the Inter Miami star, Salah expressed admiration for Gabriel Batistuta, recalling a memorable encounter with the legendary Argentine striker.

“I love Batistuta as well,” Salah remarked. “I met him once in Argentina and got his t-shirt signed, but yeah, I love Messi.”

When it comes to the game of football, talent recognizes talent and for a star like Mohamed Salah who recently has shaped his game to include both playmaking and goal scoring, revealing his adoration for the world cup winner is no surprise.
