I Love Liverpool and the City–Firmino

I love Liverpool and the city, Liverpool number 9 Bobby Firmino says amidst rumors of his exit to Juventus.

It is clear as day that the Brazilian attacker and playmaker has no interests in leaving the club despite the links about him to the Italian Serie A.

In a recent interview after the Community Shield victory, the Liverpool star reinstated his desire to remain at Anfield this coming season than leave for other challenges.

And those desires, he claims are due to his love for Liverpool and the city in general.

The Brazilian has been a fan favorite of the kop ever since his move to Merseyside in 2015, with the fans taking a liking to the talented striker immediately he arrived from Hoffenheim.

The Liverpool famous front 3 was broken after the exit of Sadio Mane from the club earlier in the summer transfer window, making it just 2 of the original left at Liverpool.

Should Firmino leave according to reports from Italy, it will remain just Egyptian forward, Mohamed Salah left at the club.

Reports from Italy state that Serie A club, Juventus have opened a £19 million bid for the forward hoping to put owners Fenway Sports Group to the test.

But latest reports state that the Liverpool owners did not take the bait, with Jurgen Klopp denying last week of any plans to sell the player who has an extra season left on his contract.

Firmino is Liverpool’s heart and soul, the German reinstated, and now it comes from the Brazilian’s lips who states ‘I love Liverpool and the City’, reinstating his desires to stay at the club even beyond the coming season.

“I love this team, this city and the fans. I’m here. I want to stay of course.”

It could very much be a ploy to increase the bargain price for the player as Liverpool might be enforcing its marketing and negotiation tactics to get a higher pay.

Or it could all be false considering Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano has denied Juventus ever had any interests in the player in the first place.
