I left school for this—Chomzy reveals she dropped out for BBN

The reality within the reality has a lot of passion behind it; a passion that made Chomzy, one of the BBNaija housemates for its new season drop out of the University just to feature in the show.

I am a final year student, I left school for this, she revealed while conversing with fellow housemate, Deji, disclosing she was into her final year study as a political science student in one of the Nigerian Universities.

Well, obviously the ASUU strike seemed to somehow be a positive for her, considering it brought her the opportunity to claim residence for the moment at the Big Brother Naija house.

The ASUU strike has been an industrial action that has put so many Nigerian students in Universities out of school, for Chomzy, it was an opportunity she claimed with both hands.

The revelation of course did not take its Nigerian audience by surprise considering some of them had worked it out that the BBNaija housemate by appearance, looked very much like a student; one obviously frustrated by the on-going crisis in the educational sector of the country.

For her fellow housemate, Deji was left wondering what would become of her education should the Academic Staff Union of Universities decide to call off the strike immediately while she was still a resident member of the house.

Perhaps she would hang on to faith that ASUU wouldn’t call it off now or maybe she would defer the semester entirely if she stands the chance to win the golden prize.

After all, life was all about the risk, a risk Chomzy has decided to take.
