The Piers Morgan uncensored interview has finally been released to the public in its full form, with Cristiano Ronaldo currently the headline and highlight of it all, thanks to the efforts of best mate, Piers Morgan. But what comes next?

It is a question that is arguably on everyone’s mind at the moment, as it’s anyone’s guess as to what Manchester United will do post the Qatar world cup tournament.

For Cristiano Ronaldo though, he still remains under contract as a forward for Manchester United, and to Piers Morgan, he has admitted he is as oblivious as everyone else as to what comes next for him post the world cup tournament.

He admits his uncertainty over whether he would stay with the Old Trafford team after the 2022 World Cup or gain the much craved exit out of the club.

For many pundits however, they stand of the opinion that the Manchester club acts fast in terminating the Portugal international’s contract to please both sides of the narrative to avoid further animosities.

“It’s difficult to tell right now, because my mood is right now to The World Cup,” Ronaldo said of the future.

“It’s probably my last World Cup. I don’t know what’s gonna happen after the World Cup and I will say again, the fans will be always in my heart.

“But I don’t know, it’s hard to tell right now what’s going to happen at the World Cup.

“Because my focus is for the World Cup, for the Portugal national team,” Ronaldo said in the concluding part of the sit-down with Morgan.

Ronaldo’s deal at Old Trafford runs through June 2023. But it’s widely believed that the Premier League’s powerhouses will break his contract before the summer of June 2023 approaches.

Whatever comes next for Ronaldo, it sure will be another interesting story for the media when it happens.
