I have my right, nobody can ban my movie - Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi

Actor, Yomi Fabiyi states his right to produce his movie and use the real names of other actors in the Nollywood industry as his newly released movie ‘Oko Iyabo’ gets numerous criticisms.

Yomi Fabiyi is a Nollywood Yoruba actor, director, and producer. The actor took to his Instagram page to state his right to create stories for his movie. In the post which was on his Instagram page, Yomi said he said the movie was about him and Iyabo Ojo and that there have been many videos online, where his real name was used and published on Youtube just because he was standing for human rights. He also mentioned that Princess did the same thing to him and even worse because the actress called him a rape apologist and a pedophile.

He further explained that his movie was not produced to undermine the victim of the incident and that the use of real names in movies is not a new trend in Nollywood.

The actor further explained that the people who attacked his movie did not even watch it to the end to understand the message being passed before rushing to social media to judge. He then concluded that nobody can ban his movie.
