“I don’t control Verydarkman” — Seun Kuti sets the record straight
Nigerian Afrobeat star Seun Kuti has distanced himself from the online antics of activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, in the wake of the Bobrisky and EFCC controversy.
Speaking out after a viral audio call between himself and VDM, Seun clarified that despite their conversations, he has no control over the TikToker’s outspoken views.
Seun, son of the legendary Fela Kuti, emphasized that Verydarkman operates on his own terms, saying, “If I had tried to stop him from posting the audio, he wouldn’t have listened.”
