We Can Beat Anyone -- Bukayo Saka Sets The Record Straight

Arsenal star player, Bukayo Saka has over 3 seasons, consecutively paid his dues for his boyhood club, the Gunners, and to a lot of the Arsenal fandom, he has become something of a pet project that should be handled with fragility.

However, in the premier league, the opposite seems to be the case for the player as EPL defenders have got no chills on them when going in for a tackle on Saka—rugged, masculine and no love for the England international their tackles always were.

Ian Wright, a former Arsenal player, claimed that seeing Bukayo Saka play makes him “nervous” since clubs in the Premier League are “kicking him to bits.”

One of Arsenal’s best players thus far this season has been the 21-year-old international from England.

For Mikel Arteta, he has started each of the 13 games while also recording a total of six assists and four goals.

The young player from the Arsenal junior team has helped the Gunners go two points ahead of Manchester City in the race for the Premier League championship.

Wright is concerned about Saka’s opponents’ brutal treatment as the winger prepares to focus on England’s World Cup campaign.

Speaking on the Wrighty’s House podcast, he said:

“We’ve got to talk about Bukayo Saka. People will say, ‘oh they’re just trying to protect him’. The man is getting kicked to bits man.

“It’s horrible. I’m nervous when he’s playing. You know when you have your best player in the team and when it goes down you’re worried. I’m literally like that every time. It’s a worry.

‘There has only been one booking for the challenges there have been on Saka this season. Just one!’
