I accept that I am the problem — Thiago Silva

Chelsea defender, Thiago Silva has responded directly to a Chelsea fan’s criticism following Saturday’s defeat to Nottingham Forest.
The Brazil international who featured in the premier league clash, accepted the blame for the shocking defeat to the visitors after he was called out on Twitter by a twitter fan page identified as ‘talkcfc’.
In the social media post, talkcfc pointed fingers at Chelsea’s back 5 set up being a problem for the Blues against their opponents, for which part the page chose to blame Thiago Silva.
talkcfc wrote;
“This won’t go down well but | think it’s time to drop Thiago Silva.. Playing him is becoming a problem because we have to play a back 5 to shoehorn him in.
“Playing 4 at the back will allow us to be better going forward and | don’t think we’ll suffer much at the back.
“Nothing but respect to Thiago but | think we’d be better off without him at the minute.”
According to the Twitter account, the need to shoehorn Silva into the team’s defensive set up has become a bane for the West London side.
In response to the criticism, the former Paris Saint-Germain star, accepted the blame but also brought into focus that the Blues were playing a defensive 4-man team at the back rather than a 5-man defence.
“If you look closely at the game, we are playing with a line of 4 my friend! But there’s no problem in assuming that I’m also responsible for the defeat. Put the pressure on me & no problem yesterday!” Silva wrote in response to the criticism.
