Nigerian artistes dominate Apple Music’s A-list African songs

Nigerian artistes took the biggest chunk of the first-ever Apple Music’s A-list African songs.

According to Apple Music, the A-List consists of “the hottest tracks from across the continent”.

There are 49 songs in the inaugural list and 19 belong to Nigerian artistes while Ghana is in second place with 13 entries.

Some of the Nigerian songs featured in the list include ‘Askamaya’ by Teni The Entertainer, ‘Fever’ by Wizkid, Duncan Mighty and Tiwa Savage’s ‘Lova Lova’.

Adekunle Gold’s ‘Damn, Delilah’, Burna Boy’s ‘Ye’, ‘Red Handed’ by Mayorkun and ‘Wonder Woman’ by Davido also make the list.
