How woman was beaten till she passed out by Masqueraders

A woman has cried out on Facebook Showing off the injuries sustained after masquerades flogged her until she passed out.

Ngene Chiamaka narrated, how, she had been sick and managed to go to the market to buy foodstuff before running into a masquerade at Eke Nibo on her way home.

Excerpts from her story read, “I met a masquerade at Eke Nibo, I hid for him to pass and when he did I continued my walk. Guess what he came from the back and flogged me with those big cane they hold. I was surprised, I started pleading with him that I’m sick. Guess what, they (other masquerade) joined hands and started flogging me. I fainted before people came and carried me away. All my body is filled with bruises, am bleeding all over my body now”.

She continued by asking “is that tradition?”
