How to combat self doubt

It is human to double check one’s self and doubt one’s self. Self doubt is part and parcel of the human experience. Your are human and will doubt yourself but what does the magic is you. Self doubt is the state of uncertainty about the truth of anything, uncertainty about self efficacy. Self doubt just makes one rationalize a situation to fit our emotional state. Self doubts are just fears made manifest in order to protect you from the truth. Everyone grapples with self doubt once in a while. It occurs when we lack confidence or feel incapable of doing things we need to do. Self doubt is associated with anxiety, depression, procrastination, lack of motivation, emotional instability.
One salient feature that conquers self doubt is self care. Engage in self love.
Practice unconditional love for yourself. Learn to love yourself without a second thought, your flaws and all. Love you permanently and have a sense of unconditional self worth. Practice self compassion. Be your number one fan and cheer leader. Practice positive self proclamation.
Identity your values. To combat self doubt, ensure that you know what your life basic and fundamental beliefs are. Know your guiding principles and focus in life. Assess your values and align with your values to work towards a unique you. Focus on your strength if you ever find you doubting yourself.
Most importantly, desist from the act of comparison.
Ignorance of the damages of comparing one to another, instead reflect on your past achievements as it helps to remind you of the roles that things have gone right and that it will go well again. As the saying goes, comparison is the thief of joy. Learn to trust yourself. Practice inner victory over inner defeat. When self doubt kicks in, find sincere validation from within. The battle of self doubt starts from within the heart of man and that can also only be handles and won from within. Practice constant reassurance.

To combat self doubts, start by taking steps and believing in yourself. Take steps in direction of your dreams. Excessive self doubt robs one of power and, in effect, from living a fulfilled life. Transform your self doubt into self belief. Do not be afraid of failures, it can be hard but it only helps one learn and become stronger.
