How the world reacted to Manchester City winning the UCL final
Finally! A breath of relief for Manchester City in the Champions League as they finally get over the line to clinch big ears at Istanbul.
The Champions League final win means a first for Manchester City in their 143 years of existence, and a 3rd for Pep Guardiola who eventually gets over the line to clinch the trophy that has eluded him ever since.
Manchester City’s triumph marks an era of dominance for English football, as they become the 4th Premier League team to reach the final within the last 5 years and the 3rd to win the trophy.
City now joins the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest to bring the glory of European dominance to English football.
How did the world react?
Of course, not everyone took it in good grips, but there is no denying the spectacle this Pep Guardiola team are.
